Action Anthropology
We are a network of visual anthropologists based in Zurich, Switzerland. We are women who meet up regularly to discuss our research, workshop ideas, methods and trends in the academic field. We are using anthropological tools and we are applying the theoretical knowledge into actual life.
Our first screening was dedicated to Chantal Akerman. The second screening showed films about the Black Lives Matter movement, while the third focused on «Some Swiss films». Our last screening is devoted to the work of Jacqueline Veuve.
I had the idea for this collective in 2019 after my graduation because I want to stay aware of the fact that I can reshape reality through my actions.
